CASEIN BENEFITS

Nude Pure Australian Grass Fed Casein is a slow -releasing and longer lasting protein source that provides specific muscle growth and recovery benefits due to its timing.

Casein has the ability to provide your bloodstream with a slow and steady flow of amino acids that can last for hours.

Carefully crafted from Australian pasture-fed cow skim milk, Nude Casein is low-carb, low-fat, gluten-free & ultra-filtered, ensuring that it is the highest premium quality.

Our Casein is free from all banned hormones, GMO's and unwanted additives, and is perfect to a slow release night time recovery, returning your body from a muscle-wasting (catabolic) to muscle-building (anabolic) state for up to 12 hours.

WHEY AND CASEIN – BETTER TOGETHER

If you are looking to build strength and muscle size, we recommend taking both Whey Protein and Casein (but not at the exact same time).

According to a study by Baylor University in Texas, Casein combined with Whey Protein is an important formula to muscle size and strength gains. Over the course of the 10-week study, the whey and casein combo yielded the greatest increases in lean, fat-free mass.

Another recent study (1) compared the effects of supplementing with either a combination whey and casein protein versus carbohydrate on several markers of muscle anabolism during strength training.

The results were overwhelmingly positive for the combination protein group. Despite similar background diets and identical training programs, supplementation with protein resulted in greater increases in several measures of muscle anabolism, including greater increases in lean muscle mass, thigh muscle mass, muscle strength, anabolic hormones and muscle specific proteins.

DON'T TAKE THEM TOGETHER

You may be tempted to just take whey protein and Casein together to get both fast and slow release proteins in one hit, but this doesn't work the way you would want.

Casein coagulates in the stomach. This causes other proteins to be digested and absorbed much more slowly. Think of it as a sort of binding gel.

This would negate the biggest and most important attribute of taking Whey Protein; its ability to quickly provide your system with with amino acid and stimulate protein synthesis.
