Mocha Fudge Protein Brownies

This mocha fudge brownie is super tasty straight out of the oven, but even better after a few hours in the fridge – that is, if you think fudgier is better, but who wouldn't think that!?

Total Time: 25 Minutes


  • 1-2 scoops (30-60gms) Nude whey protein
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 ripe bananas (if your bananas are not very ripe, you may need to add 1 tbsp rice malt syrup for sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chunks

How to make it:

Step 1:  Preheat oven to 180º Celsius (350º Fahrenheit)

Step 2. Blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor.

Step 3. Line a baking pan with baking paper and grease

Step 4. Spread the batter into the pan – you may need a spatula as it will be thick

Step 5. Sprinkle chocolate chunks on top

Step 6. Bake for 10 minutes, remove to spread chocolate evenly then bake for remaining 10 minutes.

Lift the brownie out of the pan using the baking paper and let sit for 5-10 minutes to cool slightly, then serve warm, or if you want extra fudge factor, store in the fridge for a few hours!
