Muscly Mashed Potato

Mashed potato is a satisfying comfort food, and is made even better with this protein boost to turn it into a powerful post workout combo of carbs and protein.

Serves 4

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Total Time: 45 Minutes


  • 1 Scoop (30gms) Nude Whey protein powder 
  • 500gms (1 lb) starchy potatoes like Coliban, King Edward or Pink Eye
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 60 gms (1/4 cup) butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make it:

Step 1:  Peel potatoes and cut in half if they are large

Step 2: Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold/room temperature water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes or until you can pierce easily with a fork.

Step 3: Remove from heat and drain potatoes before adding them back to the pot and mashing them.

Step 4: Add butter, milk and protein powder to the potatoes and mix thoroughly.

Salt and pepper to taste.
